I am the outcome of two incredibly strong, resilient parents.
My father was a businessman — the kind who built something out of nothing. He taught me the value of ownership, of showing up even when it’s hard, and of building with integrity. On the wall of his office hung a framed African proverb:

“Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lion or a gazelle — when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.”

Built from the Ground Up

And so did my mother — the ultimate provider. She carried our family through the hard seasons with a quiet strength that didn’t ask for recognition. She showed me what it means to lead with heart, to nurture with intention, and to never forget who you’re doing it for.
From them, I learned that success isn’t about flashy wins — it’s about consistency, courage, wisdom, strength, and a relentless work ethic.
